Name and Logo

Name and Logo

The name "Seni Sukma Kencana" literally means "The Art of the Enlightened Soul".

The logo is based on an 8-petalled lotus flower that represents the 8 points of the compass, which in turn represents the 4 kaedah (basic moves), 8 cuts, 8 steps (langkah) and 4 twists (kelek) that form the basis of the Art.

The 2 crossed jenawi swords represent the official weapon of Seni Pedang Sukma Kencana, while the single keris is to signify the sovereignty of the Malays, to whom this Art belongs.

The Arabic "Muhammad" in mirrored caligraphy is a manifestation of the physical and spiritual education that is imbued in the Way of the Sword.

The colour red signifies courage, dark blue represents spirituality, green symbolizes serenity while white is the embodiment of purity.

The symmetry of the logo signifies balance and harmony.

The Flag

The organisation's flag consists of the logo on a golden yellow background, flanked by 2 white bars. The yellow background represents the noble soul (the spiritual), while the 2 white bars on either side signify purity and virtue (the physical).
