Basic Jenawi Intensive Course, Jitra

This was the first face-to-face seminar that we presented with the collaboration of Akademi Panah Emas. 15 people joined this seminar, including one female participant. The participants were exposed to the art of Malay swordsmanship ethics and traditions, basics of using the jenawi sword followed by a practical session and a short test. Thankfully, everyone made it through the test and were presented with the Level 1 (Umar I) certification. This certification is necessary for them in order to sign up as a member of the Seni Sukma Kencana Swordsmen's Association of Malaysia. It also qualifies them to purchase a real jenawi sukma sword personally signed by Mahaguru Nara.
